Pride is all about self-affirmation, dignity, equality and increasing the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and two-spirited people. Pride also fights against the shame and social stigma which may be experienced by people who consider themselves part of the LGBTQ2+ community.
