Cannot identify resource

This status is commonly assigned when the request cannot be identified from the details provided. 


To process these requests in TADC

  1. Click the Requests tab in the menu at the top of the page. Navigate to the digitization request and click the three vertical dots under Actions

     
  2. Select View details. You might now see the following Request Referred message on the left side of the screen:cannot identify the requested resource
     
  3. You might now see this message:
    manually clear request
     
  4. Check the box that best applies to the request and add an explanatory Comment (optional). Click Accept Request.

Note: After completing these steps, you may receive the prompt shown below. It feels circuitous, but complete the workflow once more. If the digitization is covered by fair dealing or another exception in the Copyright Act, select Other, enter an explanatory note, and click Save.
