Many online image collections include openly licensed content, either in full or in part. Be sure to check the license for each image, as terms of use can vary.

Searching Google Images

You can use Google to find openly licenses content by selecting 'Settings' and 'Advanced Search'. From there you can change the 'Usage Rights' to filter by license:
