Linking to videos

Langara has many streaming media resources to support teaching. We have five main collections. We also license films individually.

Audio Cine Film (ACF) This link opens in a new window Audio Cine Films (ACF) is a streaming collection of over 750 feature films, from major studios including Disney, Touchstone, Pixar, Sony, Columbia, and many more.
Criterion on Demand This link opens in a new window A dedicated post-secondary streaming feature film collection of over 1,500 English titles, more than 1,100 French titles, over 100 documentary features, and approximately 135 foreign language films with English subtitles. Closed captions exist whenever available. Films are available for download and/or streaming, on and off-campus. Notes Always access the Criterion on Demand website through the library catalogue when off-campus. Some films are only available for viewing on-campus, as indicated by a restriction notice in the film description and when you click play. You must have the correct version of Microsoft Silverlight installed on your computer if you are using Internet Explorer or Safari. Firefox and Google Chrome do not require Microsoft Silverlight. Curio.ca This link opens in a new window Provides streaming access to educational content from CBC and Radio-Canada, including documentaries from television and radio, news reports, archival material, stock shots and more.

Kanopy This link opens in a new window Streaming video collection which includes thousands of award-winning documentaries, training films and theatrical releases.
NFB Education This link opens in a new window Provides online access to thousands of full-length documentaries, animation, experimental films, and alternative dramas, as well as curated Playlists from the National Film Board of Canada.
