- Request access to Reading Lists
- Email readinglists@langara.ca to request an account.
- Accept the invitation email
- You will receive an invitation email in response to your request. Click on the link provided in the email to accept the invitation. After accepting the invitation, you will be directed back to the Reading Lists homepage.
- Note: Check your spam or clutter folders for a message from Talis Aspire (the commercial name for Reading Lists) if you do not see the invitation email in your inbox.
- Add the Bookmarking extension
- The Bookmarking extension is a tool that you install in your Internet browser (Google Chrome recommended). It enables you to save the details of readings you wish to add to your lists. To install the Bookmarking extension:
- Login to Reading Lists.
- Click My Bookmarks in the menu at the top of the screen.
- Click Install Bookmarking Extension on the right side of the screen and follow the prompts. You will see an icon in your Internet browser once you have successfully installed the Bookmarking extension, as shown below.

Once you have completed steps 1-3, you are ready to create a reading list and gather your readings.
