POLI 1119: Canadian Politics and Government (Phillips)

The purpose of this library research assignment is three-fold:

1. To introduce students to the various resources available through the Langara Library;
2. To require students to visit the library to locate books in the stacks that are relevant to the study of Canadian politics and government;
3. To familiarize students with the citation of books and articles using Chicago Style.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

1. Find a book on your topic using the library catalogue
2. Locate a print book in Langara Library from the call number
3. Find a journal article on your topic using one of the recommended databases for PoliSci research
4. Create a Chicago style citation for your source
