HSCI 2212: Emerging Disease Assignment (Glass)

Welcome to the HSCI 2212 library guide!

In this class we will do the following, working in groups and together:

  • Explore practice topics for the emerging disease assignment

  • Learn where to find academic articles and how to use library databases
  • Find 2 scholarly articles on your group’s practice topic
  • Talk about plagiarism - what it is and how to avoid it
  • Practice identifying proper and improper paraphrasing
  • Discuss how to cite articles and effectively use citation management tools
  • Generate draft citations for your 2 selected articles, that you could use in this assignment
