The M factor :

shredding the silence on menopause

The M factor puts menopause front and center in the discussions surrounding women's health and gives women "permission" to talk frankly about their experiences, while offering information and options to navigate their journeys with ease, peace of mind, and respect for their bodies. Featuring renowned doctors, workplace advocates, and leading healthcare advocates who address questions that have long plagued women, the film speaks directly to how the medical profession and society at large have failed to meet this common experience with the focus and expertise warranted. Also addressed are the health disparities faced by Black and Brown women who have compounded adverse health outcomes over the course of their lives before reaching menopause, as well as the hidden exploitative origins of gynecology in America.

Beethoven's nine :

ode to humanity

In early 2023, filmmaker Larry Weinstein set out to make a documentary about Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. It was supposed to be about how far we have come in the two hundred years since it was written. But when world events pull Larry into his own film, the question becomes a deeply personal one. Beethoven's Nine is a documentary about music, but also about war and hope. It follows nine unique individuals, including Ukrainian musicians, a deaf composer, a Polish rock star, a best-selling author, a legendary cartoonist and Weinstein himself, as they try to better understand the legacy of Beethoven's Ninth, the composer's own struggles, the inspiration music can provide and how humanity continues to look for hope even in the darkest times.
