Community Futures in British Columbia is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs in rural and smaller communities by providing the tools and resources they need to succeed. Through access to flexible business loans, tailored training programs, and expert mentorship, Community Futures empowers individuals to start, grow, and sustain their businesses. The organization fosters an entrepreneurial spirit, helping to overcome challenges unique to rural areas while promoting innovation and economic resilience. By investing in entrepreneurs, Community Futures plays a critical role in creating jobs, diversifying local economies, and building strong, vibrant communities across BC.

Futurpreneur

Futurpreneur is a national, non-profit organization that provides loans with mentorship and resources to diverse entrepreneurs, ages 18-39, who are looking to start, buy or grow their businesses in Canada. They help diverse young founders reach their startup goals and provide bilingual (English and French) supports and resources to empower business owners on their entrepreneurial journeys. Founded in 1996, the organization was established to promote entrepreneurship among Canadian youth as a critical pillar for diversifying the economy, generating employment opportunities and fostering a sustainable future. Since then, Futurpreneur has helped more than 18,700 young entrepreneurs start or buy small and growing businesses across Canada. Futurpreneur is a founding member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, the Canadian member of Youth Business International and the Canadian host of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Futurpreneur is partially supported by the Government of Canada.

Futurpreneur est un organisme national à but non lucratif qui propose des prêts, du mentorat et des ressources aux entrepreneur.e.s de 18 à 39 ans qui souhaitent lancer, acquérir ou faire croître leur entreprise au Canada. Nous aidons divers jeunes fondateur.trice.s à atteindre leurs objectifs de démarrage et fournissons un soutien et des ressources bilingues (anglais et français) afin d’aider les propriétaires d’entreprises dans leur parcours entrepreneurial.

Fondée en 1996, l’organisme a été créé pour promouvoir l’esprit d’entreprise chez les jeunes Canadien.ne.s en tant que pilier essentiel de la diversification de l’économie, de la création d’emplois et de la promotion d’un avenir durable. Depuis, Futurpreneur a aidé plus de 18 700 jeunes entrepreneur.e.s à lancer ou à acquérir de petites entreprises en pleine croissance dans tout le Canada.

Futurpreneur est un membre fondateur de l’Alliance jeunes entrepreneur.e.s du G20, le membre canadien de Youth Business International et l’hôte canadien de la semaine mondiale de l’entreprenariat.

Futurpreneur est partiellement soutenu par le gouvernement du Canada.

WeBC is a not-for-profit organization that supports women business owners in all regions of BC. Offering business loans up to $150K, advisory services, self-paced SMART courses, training, resources, and regionally-based mentors, WeBC provides sustained support that women can access at every step in their business journey.
