Langara Return to Learning (LRTL) Course
It can be very upsetting to be placed on academic suspension. During this pause in your studies, you can develop new approaches to learning that will help you to be more successful in the future. It is also important to review Langara’s Academic Standing policy to understand how your academic performance is assessed.
If this is your first time on academic suspension at Langara College, you are not permitted to register for three consecutive semesters. However, you may be eligible to appeal for early readmission if you complete Langara's Return to Learning (LRTL) course. Under this option, early re-admission is not guaranteed, and you will still be required to sit-out for a minimum of one semester while you complete the LRTL course.
LRTL is a free, online applied learning course designed to help you reflect on and evaluate the circumstances and decisions that led or contributed to your academic suspension. The course will also teach you effective learning, study and time-management strategies and how to access various college services to support your future academic success.
Completing this course is not mandatory but is required if you wish to appeal for early re-admission.

Attending one (of the four) information sessions and one (of the two) orientation sessions is mandatory if you would like to sign up for the LRTL course.
