About

Are you currently on academic suspension but want to keep making progress? The LRTL & BUSM 1500 Pilot Project is a special opportunity to take a course while working on your academic success.

What’s This About?

Normally, students on suspension can’t take courses. This voluntary pilot project lets you apply what you learn in LRTL (Langara Return to Learning) to a 3-credit course:

BUSM 1500 – Business Presentations

  • Develop real-world communication skills for business and professional settings.
  • Gain confidence in public speaking, leading meetings, and working with others.
  • Learn to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations.
  • Class Details: In-person, Fridays (3 hours) during the Summer semester.

Why Join?

✅ Get Back on Track for Fall – Successfully completing both LRTL and BUSM 1500 allows you to return to good academic standing in the Fall semester. Earn three credits for BUSM 1500 and improve your GPA.
✅ Stay Connected – Keep access to important student services and resources.
✅ Boost Your Skills – Build strong presentation and communication skills that will help in any career.
✅ Build confidence - Apply new learning approaches from LRTL to BUSM 1500 and feel confident to return to studies
