Environment Geography Annotated Bibliography and In-Class Essay

For your final assignment in this class, you are expected to produce an annotated bibliography and an in-class essay. Your topic for these assignments will examine a country and environmental issue of your choosing.

In this essay, you are expected to interact with a minimum of five sources that will guide your examination of the environmental issue, the geographical location, and the course issues and themes. Of these sources you must use and cite:

• your course textbook
• any lecture notes (Instructions on How to Cite Lecture Notes in APA Style)
• at least 2 scholarly sources

This guide will help you to get started with the research on these sources.

A note on the "Geographical Concepts"

For this essay, you are to use two of the geographical concepts that you have discussed in class to examine your topic. In many cases, adding the concept as a search term will NOT help you find better articles. Instead, you should be looking for the main concepts, ideas, or events around your topic and applying those geographical concepts to your interpretation of the sources.
