Overview
This tutorial will familiarize students with the resources and tools to help them conduct research for their ECED courses. The content is broken into 4 parts:
- Introduction to the Langara Library & Learning Commons
- Introduction to Library Resources
- Demonstration of Quick Topic Search
- Conclusion and Recap
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this tutorial, you should be able to:
- Identify the various research and writing supports available to you at the Library and Learning Commons
- Navigate to the education section of the Library website
- Differentiate between peer reviewed articles and popular articles
- Develop appropriate keywords for database searching using the database operators AND and OR
