Attribution for an icon from the Noun Project

The Noun Project requires attribution for free download and will specify how the creators should be acknowledged.

The icon title (DNA) is linked to the icon page, the creator (Template) is linked to the creator's profile page at the Noun Project. The license is linked to the version of the CC-BY license hosted on the Noun Project site.

Attribution for a photo from Unsplash or Pexels

This image is from Unsplash and is cited according to the Unsplash terms-of-use (see the image below). The terms-of-use indicate that credit is not mandatory but is welcomed and should include the photographer's name and a link to their profile or photo.


The photographer's name is hyperlinked to his profile, and the title of the image (Grizzly Bear and Cub) is hyperlinked to the photo itself. This is a variation on the Unsplash suggestions for attribution, but is more aligned with the citation guidelines recommended for other sites
