CNST 1130: Work in Canadian Society

The easiest way to identify literary works on your CNST 1130 topic is to use the Gale e-Books collection.

The Gale e-Books collection includes Novels for Students, Drama for Students, Short Stories for Students, and Poetry for Students. These titles provide analysis, context and criticism on commonly studied literary works.

To find a literary work on your topic:

1. Select one of the following--
   • Novels for Students
   • Drama for Students 
   • Short Stories for Students
   • Poetry for Students
2. Search by keyword (for example: sex roles, wealth, poverty) using the Search Within Series box on the right side of the page
3. Click the Subjects tab on the right side of the page
4. Select the Subject that best relates to your topic (see screenshot below)
5. Search the library catalogue or Google for a copy of the work
