Open Education

Open licenses.

Open licenses are the foundation of open educational resources (OER). Publishing work under an open license allows the creator to retain some copy rights, while making it easier for others to use and share the work. There are many different open licensing models, but Creative Commons is the most widely used and recognized.

What Are Creative Commons Licenses?

Creative Commons is an open licensing model that provides a simple, standardized way to give other people permission to share and use your work, based on conditions you choose.
